Description
ICC2 is a valued, medium-sized irrigation controller for commercial applications, which, like its predecessor, offers more than you expect. It is designed to control larger irrigation systems (up to 54 sections) and provides the water savings you would expect from products of Hunter company.
ICC2 can operate two of four automatic programs simultaneously. The ICC2 control panel and section output modules (with increased surge protection) are compatible with the original ICC controllers with 4 and 8 section modules. The optional expansion module supports up to 54 sections (ICC in metal housing) and 38 sections (ICC in plastic housing).
ICC2 offers simple programming, a backlit display and customizable language overlays. It also includes advanced features such as Easy RetrieveTM backup of memory, function of cyclic irrigation, and seasonal adjustment.
ICC2 controllers have the option of remote control via Hunter ROAM and ROAM-XL remote controls and have a built-in Solar Sync? sensor function for automatic water saving. ICC2 is available with plastic, metal and stainless steel (SS) housing for wall mounting outdoors or on a plastic pedestal. Metal pedestals in gray or stainless steel are also available.

RENEWABLE MEMORY EASY RETRIEVE ?
A tool for manual backup that stores full information about the watering schedule and controller settings. This allows you to restore your saved watering schedule at any time. This can be used to restore the input settings in the controller after outside intervention or at the beginning of a new season.
MANUAL LAUNCH OF FUNCTION WITHOUT A KNOB AND ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
Pressing and holding the right arrow button enables the user a manually start / test any section and then extend the working time of the section.
PROGRAMMABLE IRRIGATION DELAY AFTER RAIN
The function allows the user to specify the number of days for which the controller should remain in off mode and then return to automatic watering. This avoids watering for long periods of inclement weather, after which watering will automatically resume. Thanks to this, it is not necessary to regulate each section in the program. The controller displays on the screen the number of days remaining to resume watering.
QUICK CHECK FUNCTION
This feature allows for quick diagnosting the problems with valves wiring in the field instead of checking each wiring circuit separately. QuickCheck detects short circuits in the wiring and displays on the screen an error message saying “ERR” and the section number.
PERMANENT MEMORY
This function makes it possible to maintain functions such as: current time, date and programmed program data in the event of a power outage.
AUTOMATIC SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
Automatic short-circuit protection, used on all Hunter AC controllers, detects electrical damage usually caused by wiring problems or cable damage. The sections where the short circuit has occurred are skipped, so you can continue irrigating through the undamaged sections. There are no fuses that could blow out and the internal breakers which could be triggered and cause stop watering completely.
SEASON CORRECTION: AUTOMATIC OR GLOBAL UPDATE OF SETTINGS CARRIED OUT BY SOLAR SYNC SENSOR
This function allows you to quick adjust the watering time using the percentage scale. At the peak of the irrigation season, the seasonal correction value should be set to 100%. If the demand for water is lower due to weather conditions,you should enter the appropriate percentage (e.g. 50%) to reduce the section’s working time without having to modify the working time of individual sections in the program. This model offers two different ways to use seasonal adjustment to reduce the amount of water used: Global and daily.
Global: the percentage of seasonal adjustment introduces modifications to the settings of the working times of all sections in the programs assigned to the controller.
Daily: based on local weather data collected by the Solar Sync ET sensor, the controller has the ability to enter daily modifications to the settings of the section’s operating times.
“CYCLE AND SOAK” FUNCTION (CYCLE WORK AND SOAKING)
It is a water-saving function that allows the user to determine the maximum working time for individual sections, and then the minimum soaking time, so as to prevent water from flowing down slopes or saturated soils. The operator can enter any working time, and the controller will automatically divide it into cycles enabling water absorption during periods of soaking . This function can be adjusted according to the individual section in the event of exceptional soil and local conditions.
DELAY IN LAUNCHING NEXT SECTIONS
The function allows you to program a delay in starting individual sections when the controller turns off one section and starts the next. The delay can last for a few seconds, which will allow for a complete shutdown the slower closing valves or much longer, so that it is making it possible to fill the pressure tanks.
TOTAL WORKING CALCULATOR
Calculates the total working time of the program based on the sum of all section starts. It can be used to calculate the program end time.
