Solar Sync weather sensor

A truly “intelligent” irrigation controller is now available.

The Solar Sync sensor is an advanced weather sensor that, based on evapotranspiration values, adjusts Hunter controllers based on daily local weather conditions. Solar Sync calculates sunlight and temperature, and uses evapotranspiration data to determine the percentage of seasonal correction that is sent to the controller. Then the controller uses this data to modify the programmed section working time by the seasonal correction value and set the optimal working time of the section for a given day. In addition, the SolarSync sensor integrates two popular sensors: the Rain-Click ? rain sensor and the Freeze-Clik? freeze sensor, so that the system can be turned off immediately in the event of rainfall or low temperatures. The Solar Sync sensor is compatible with most Hunter controllers and can be used on private, commercial and urban properties.

Technical data

  • Maximum distance between sensor and module: 60 m (wired model) or 240 m (wireless model)
  • A 12 meter long cord is included in the set (wired model)
  • Solar Sync SEN sensors and wireless Solar Sync are compatible with Pro-C, PCC, ICC, I-Core controllers.
  • Solar Sync sensors and wireless Solar Sync are compatible with X-Core, I-CORE and ACC controllers.
  • The sensor has the function of switching off the system due to rain and low temperatures.
